Proctorville Woman Indicted on First-Degree Cocaine Charges Arrested in Scioto County

A Proctorville woman indicted earlier this month on first-degree felony cocaine charges has now been booked into the Scioto County Jail.

According to Scioto County Common Pleas Court records, Chelsa Mae Danielle Davis, 36, of Proctorville, was indicted on July 16 on two felony charges stemming from a Scioto County case:

  • Trafficking in Cocaine, a first-degree felony under Ohio Revised Code 2925.03(A) & (C)(4)(F).
  • Possession of Cocaine, also a first-degree felony under Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) & (C)(4)(E).

Court records show prosecutors requested the issuance of a warrant following the indictment, and the court subsequently issued an arrest warrant to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office on July 16.

Jail records indicate Davis was booked into the Scioto County Jail on July 21, 2026, at approximately 12:06 p.m. The jail currently lists the booking offense as Trafficking in Drugs.

The criminal case remains pending in Scioto County Common Pleas Court, where no disposition has been entered. An arraignment is expected to be scheduled.

As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and Davis is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
