LONDONDERRY MAN INDICTED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGE IN ROSS COUNTY

A Londonderry man is facing a felony drug charge following a recent indictment in Ross County Common Pleas Court.

According to court records, Steve R. Harris has been charged with Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony under Ohio law.

The indictment was filed on April 10, 2026, and a warrant was subsequently issued for Harris’ arrest. Records indicate the warrant was served on April 17, 2026, by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

Harris appeared for arraignment on April 20, 2026, where the case was formally addressed in court. He was granted personal recognizance, meaning he was released without posting bond, under the condition that he comply with court requirements.

As part of those conditions, the court ordered weekly reporting and testing, according to docket entries.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May 18, 2026 at 8:45 a.m. in Ross County Common Pleas Court before Judge Michael M. Ater.

At this time, the case remains open and pending, and no final disposition has been reached.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
