FRANKFORT MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY FAILURE TO COMPLY

A Frankfort man is facing felony charges following an incident that led to a pursuit investigation in Ross County.

According to records filed with the Chillicothe Municipal Court, Austin M. Earles, 23, of Frankfort, has been charged with Failure to Comply with the Order or Signal of a Police Officer, a fourth-degree felony.

Court documents indicate the charge stems from an incident that occurred on April 16, 2026, with the case officially filed the following day. The charge carries six license points if convicted.

The complaint was filed by a deputy with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, and multiple deputies have been subpoenaed in connection with the case, suggesting a law enforcement pursuit or coordinated response.

Earles appeared for arraignment on April 17, 2026, and the case has been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

As of now, the case remains pending in Chillicothe Municipal Court. No details on the incident have been released by the Ross County Sheriffs Office.
