GROVE CITY, Ohio — A Columbus woman is facing a misdemeanor theft charge following an arrest in Grove City over the weekend, according to Franklin County court and jail records.
Abagail A. Nebbergall, 25, of Columbus, was arrested on August 23 and charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft. Court records identify a Grove City Police Department officer as the complainant and list the incident location as 1693 Stringtown Road in Grove City.
Nebbergall was booked into the James A. Karnes Corrections Center. Franklin County jail records also list additional misdemeanor matters associated with her booking, including failure to display and driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation.
She appeared for arraignment on August 24, where court records show she entered a plea of not guilty and requested a jury trial. She was represented by the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office.
Records indicate Nebbergall was released on her own recognizance following the arraignment. As a condition of bond, she was ordered to stay away from the location of the alleged incident.
The theft case was initially processed through the municipal court system before being transferred on August 25. The case remains open and is assigned to Judge Russo, according to the court docket.
