A Bainbridge man is currently being held in the Ross County Jail after being arrested on multiple domestic violence-related charges, including strangulation and leaving the scene of an accident.
According to jail records, 21-year-old Gage Tyler Brown was booked into the Ross County Jail during the early morning hours of May 27, 2026. Brown is being held on several warrant charges stemming from multiple cases filed in Chillicothe Municipal Court.
The charges listed against Brown include:
- Domestic Violence – Knowingly Cause Physical Harm
- Strangulation
- Accident Leaving Scene
- Additional Domestic Violence allegations
Jail records show bonds ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 on several of the charges, while at least one count reportedly carried no bond.
Public court records show Brown has faced multiple domestic violence-related cases over the past year.
One domestic violence case filed in April 2025 carried a $10,000 cash/surety bond. Another domestic violence case filed in September 2025 carried a $5,000 bond. Court records also show a felony strangulation case filed in January 2026 with a $15,000 cash/surety bond attached.
Brown remains listed as in custody at the Ross County Jail.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are merely allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
