CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Kingston woman was booked into the Ross County Jail Thursday night after a warrant was issued in connection with a misdemeanor falsification charge filed in Chillicothe Municipal Court.
According to court records, Kyleigh B. Hurley, 19, was charged with falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor under Ohio Revised Code 2921.13(A). Court records list the alleged offense date as August 15, 2026, with the complaint filed on August 25.
A probable cause hearing was held on August 25. According to the docket, probable cause was found, bond was set at $5,000, and a warrant was ordered. The warrant was subsequently issued on August 26.
Jail records show Hurley was taken into custody on August 27 at approximately 11:21 p.m. and booked into the Ross County Jail several minutes later. The jail record identifies Alexis Alatorre-Aviles as the officer associated with the arrest.
