The Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 is holding an equipment auction in Chillicothe, and the public online phase is now open, according to ODOT.
The equipment being sold is located at 650 Eastern Ave. in Chillicothe. The sale runs in three phases. The first two phases, a private offline sale that ran Oct. 5 to Oct. 12 and a private online sale for government buyers that ran Oct. 13 to Oct. 20, have closed. Phase 3, the public online auction, opened Wednesday, Oct. 21 and closes Wednesday, Nov. 4.
A public inspection day is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the district site. Pickup hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Anyone who wants to schedule an inspection can contact Blake Kellough at 740-656-5994 or Joe Williams at 740-703-3468.
To bid in the public phase, buyers register as a GovDeals buyer at govdeals.com, sign in, and bid through the Ohio Department of Transportation listings. The full list of equipment in the District 9 sale is posted with the auction announcement on ODOT’s website.
