A Chillicothe man previously convicted in an aggravated robbery case has been returned to custody on a parole holder, according to jail records reviewed Wednesday.
Christian M. Himelrick, 25, was listed as being held at the Ross County Jail after being booked on May 5, 2026. Jail records indicate the arresting agency was the Adult Parole Authority.
According to Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction records, Himelrick was serving a sentence tied to a Ross County aggravated robbery conviction under case number 19CR156. The records list the offense as a first-degree felony and show an effective sentencing date of Sept. 12, 2022.
State prison records further indicated Himelrick had been placed on APA supervision and carried an expected release or parole eligibility date of March 16, 2026. Jail information now lists him as being held on a parole holder warrant.
Court and parole proceedings connected to the hold were not immediately available Wednesday.
As with all criminal matters, allegations and parole violations must be addressed through the court and supervision process.
