Chillicothe Woman Indicted on Drug Possession Charge

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe woman has been indicted on a felony drug possession charge in Ross County.

According to court records, Erin Desirea Dunn, 30, was indicted on May 1, 2026, by a Ross County grand jury on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony under Ohio law.

Court records indicate the charge is tied to R.C. 2925.11, commonly referred to as aggravated possession of drugs, depending on the substance involved.

A warrant was issued following the indictment, and Dunn was taken into custody on May 4, 2026, after it was served by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

Jail records show Dunn was booked into the Ross County Jail but has since been released from custody.

Following her arrest, Dunn appeared for arraignment, where the court ordered pre-trial supervision, including weekly reporting and testing requirements. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June 8, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. in Ross County Common Pleas Court.

The case remains open and pending.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
