A Pike County man has been sentenced to 142 to 146 years in prison after a jury convicted him on 26 felony counts in a child sexual abuse and exploitation case.
Andre Lorinzo Ghee, 54, was sentenced Friday in Pike County Common Pleas Court, according to the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office. His four-day jury trial concluded on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The convictions include sexual battery, pandering obscenity involving a minor, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and endangering children.
Prosecuting Attorney Davis and Assistant Prosecutor Brady tried the case on behalf of the State of Ohio. The prosecution presented witness testimony, medical evidence, extensive digital communications, photographs and videos, and forensic evidence recovered from electronic devices and online service providers.
The prosecutor’s office said the case involved the sexual abuse and exploitation of a child by an adult entrusted with her safety.
“The sentence holds Ghee accountable for his conduct and protects the victim and our community,” the office said.
The office praised the victim for coming forward and testifying, and said protecting her privacy and dignity remains a priority. It will not release any information identifying her.
The office gave special recognition to Investigator Wheeler, whose detailed examination of the digital evidence it called critical to the prosecution. It also thanked the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Garden Advocacy Center for their work and assistance throughout the case, and thanked the jurors for their service.
Jail records show Ghee was booked in Gallia County on Feb. 6, 2026, on charges of sexual battery and pandering obscenity involving a minor, and was booked into the Fayette County Jail on Feb. 9. Pike County has no jail of its own, so its inmates are held in surrounding counties.
