CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a wrong-way vehicle pursuit on South Bridge Street that ultimately ended in a foot pursuit on Malone Road.
The suspect, identified as Jason Charles Bowens Jr., was taken into custody following the pursuit.
Bowens was booked into the Ross County Jail on October 31, 2026, on charges of domestic violence, strangulation, burglary, and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.
All charges are allegations, and Bowens is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
