The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office has added three new deputies to its Road Patrol Division. Cooper Davis, Logan Eskew and Kris Lloyd were officially sworn in this morning and have joined the office as members of the Road Patrol Division.
According to the announcement from the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies Davis and Eskew will begin field training in the coming days. They will work under the guidance of experienced Field Training Officers as they prepare for independent patrol duties.
Deputy Kris Lloyd recently returned home to Gallia County after serving the nation in the United States Air Force. He is scheduled to attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Peace Officer Basic Training Academy in August. Upon successful completion of the academy, Lloyd will complete field training before assignment to solo patrol duties.
Deputy Cooper Davis also returns home to Gallia County. He brings prior law enforcement experience from a neighboring agency in Jackson County.
Deputy Logan Eskew graduated from Meigs High School and recently completed Peace Officer Basic Training at Hocking College. In addition to beginning his law enforcement career, Eskew serves as a reservist in the United States Army.
The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office stated it is proud to welcome these three individuals to the team. Officials look forward to the service the new deputies will provide to the citizens of Gallia County.
This development strengthens the Road Patrol Division’s capacity to respond to calls, patrol local roads and support public safety across Gallia County in southeast Ohio. The new deputies bring valuable experience from military service and prior law enforcement work in the region.
