Pike County Woman Sentenced to Prison on Multiple Charges in Ross County

A Pike County woman is now incarcerated following a conviction and sentencing in Ross County Common Pleas Court.

According to court records and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Sharon A. Jordan, 33, of Peebles, was admitted to the Ohio Reformatory for Women on March 3, 2026, where she is currently listed as incarcerated.

Jordan was convicted on February 20, 2026, after entering a guilty plea to Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, a fourth-degree felony.

Additional charges in the case included two counts of Endangering Children (M1), along with multiple felony offenses including Weapons Under Disability and Possession of Drugs.

Court documents show Jordan was sentenced to 12 months in prison on the failure to comply charge. That sentence is being served consecutively to sentences imposed in related cases, resulting in a longer aggregate prison term.

As part of the sentencing, Jordan’s driver’s license was suspended for five years, and she was ordered to pay court costs.

Judge Michael Ater presided over the case.

Jordan remains in custody within the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction system.
