The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office has a new deputy.

Deputy Hannah Rodgers was sworn in Monday by Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey. Rodgers comes to Pickaway County from the Columbus Division of Police.

“Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office family, Deputy Hannah Rodgers,” the sheriff’s office said in announcing her arrival, adding that she is excited about her career here in Pickaway County.

Welcome to Pickaway County, Deputy Rodgers.

One last thing: the sheriff’s office announcement spelled her name two ways, Rodgers and Rogers. We went with Rodgers.
