Hundreds of people were already lined up outside the Shoemaker Center at Ohio University Chillicothe on Wednesday afternoon, well before the doors were set to open for President Donald Trump’s rally.
People in the line said they had been waiting for hours to get in. By mid-afternoon the crowd filled the fenced area in front of the building, and the line ran down the drive in front of the center.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The program starts at 5:30 p.m., and the president is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m.
Drivers should remember there is no parking on High Street between Main Street and Kopp Street until 9 p.m. tonight.
The Chillicothe stop comes six days before Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
