Highland County Teen Booked on Marijuana, Warrant, and Delinquency Charges

A 19-year-old Highland County man was booked into the Highland County Jail on June 19, 2026, facing multiple charges, including drug possession, failure to appear, and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

According to jail records, Jeremiah Lee Cruz, of Highland County, was arrested at approximately 6:00 a.m. on June 19 and later booked into the jail at 9:47 p.m. Jail records show Cruz remains in custody.

Court records associated with the booking list three charges:

  • Failure to Appear; Issuance of Warrant (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of Drugs – Marijuana (Fourth-Degree Misdemeanor)
  • Contributing to the Unruliness/Delinquency of a Child (First-Degree Misdemeanor)

The listed bond amounts include $500 on the warrant-related charge and $2,500 on the charge involving a child. No disposition had been entered on the charges at the time of booking.
