Highland County Jail Inmate Faces Multiple Felony Drug Charges Following Fayette County Arrest

A Highland County Jail inmate is being held on multiple felony drug charges after being arrested in Fayette County on June 30, according to jail records.

Dylan Tate Campbell, 31, was booked into the Highland County Jail at approximately 6:47 p.m. on June 30. Records indicate Campbell was arrested earlier that morning in Fayette County by Officer Chris Bowen.

According to jail records, Campbell is currently being held on a series of felony drug-related offenses, including:

  • Possession of Drugs (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Drugs – Schedule I or II Controlled Substance
  • Trafficking in Drugs – Sell or Offer to Sell
  • Trafficking in Drugs – Sell or Offer to Sell (second count)
  • Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound (F5)
  • Trafficking in Drugs – Sell or Offer to Sell (additional count)
  • Possession of Drugs – Schedule I or II Controlled Substance (additional count)

As of July 1, no bond information or court disposition had been entered into the jail system. The charges remain pending, and formal court proceedings are expected to follow.

Campbell remains in custody at the Highland County Jail.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
