Greenfield Woman Arrested After Months as Fugitive in Methamphetamine Case

GREENFIELD, Ohio — A Greenfield woman indicted on a felony methamphetamine charge last year has been taken into custody after authorities spent months attempting to locate her.

According to Highland County Common Pleas Court records, 42-year-old Bobbi Jo Munyan was indicted by a Highland County grand jury on October 7, 2025, on one count of Aggravated Possession of Methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.

Court records show a summons was issued following the indictment, but the Highland County Sheriff’s Office was unable to serve Munyan despite multiple attempts. A docket entry filed October 28, 2025, states deputies made three attempts to serve the summons and left notices, but were unable to make contact.

Following the unsuccessful attempts, a warrant for Munyan’s arrest was issued on October 31, 2025.

The case remained inactive until May 28, 2026, when Munyan was arrested and booked into the Highland County Jail. Jail records indicate she was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Highland-Lick Road near the interstate.

Munyan appeared in Highland County Common Pleas Court on May 29, where she was formally arraigned on the charge. Court records show Judge Rocky A. Coss ordered her released on a $2,500 bond and placed her under pretrial supervision. She was also ordered to report immediately to the Highland County Probation Department.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 10, followed by a final pretrial hearing on July 1. The case is currently set for a jury trial on July 23.

According to court records, the original indictment alleges Munyan knowingly possessed methamphetamine in violation of Ohio law.

Munyan is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
