Pike County’s auditor and tax office is in the government center, not a storefront on Second Street. The address is 230 Waverly Plaza, Suite 200, Waverly, 45690. Phone (740) 947-4125. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
That desk is where the value lives. Homestead exemption applications, a house that is still on the card after it came down, a building added that never got reported: Suite 200. The form is still Ohio’s DTE 105A. For 2026 the state shields $29,000 of market value for a qualifying senior or disabled owner whose Ohio income is at or under $41,000, with a larger shield for disabled veterans and surviving spouses of public-service officers killed in the line of duty. File it with this auditor, not with Ross County and not with the school.
The courthouse at 100 East Second Street is the right building for a deed question. It is the wrong first stop for “why did my bill change.” A passed levy is not undone at either window.
Eastern Pike villages and the townships around the old plant site do not get a special tax counter. The parcel is either on this roll or it is not. Bring the parcel number. A mailing address that does not match the site address is how exemptions get applied to the wrong house.
Suite 200, parcel number in hand, before you call a township trustee.
