An Adams County man who was recently released from prison is already listed by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction as a violator at large.
According to ODRC records, 35-year-old Kaleb Apgar was released onto post-release supervision on April 21, 2026, following multiple felony convictions out of Adams County and Marion County. His supervision period was listed as six months through APA supervision.
However, ODRC records now show Apgar’s status as “APA SUPERVISION – VAL,” indicating he has been classified as a violator at large.
Court and prison records show Apgar was serving time for multiple offenses including:
- Failure to Comply, a third-degree felony
- Theft, a fifth-degree felony
- Drug Possession charges, both fifth-degree felonies
Records indicate Apgar entered Pickaway Correctional Institution on April 30, 2024. His expected release date/parole eligibility date was listed as April 21, 2026, with his sentence expiration listed as October 8, 2026.
Although ODRC lists Ross County as his residential county following release, records indicate Apgar is originally from Adams County.
As of publication, no additional details regarding the alleged supervision violation had been released publicly.
All suspects and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
