Chillicothe Woman Charged With OVI, Child Endangering Following Ross County Traffic Stop

ROSS COUNTY, OH — A Chillicothe woman was arrested Sunday night following a traffic stop on Black Run Road near Blain Highway in Ross County.

According to a Ross County Sheriff’s Office report, Deputy Ariana Williamson was patrolling the area at approximately 10:06 p.m. on September 7 when she observed a vehicle allegedly commit a marked-lanes violation. Williamson reported that the vehicle pulled off to the side of the road before she activated her overhead lights. A traffic stop was then conducted and an arrest was made.

The incident report lists alleged offenses of OVI — .17 or more of alcohol per 210 liters of breath, endangering children involving operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a child under 18, and failure to stay in marked lanes.

Ross County Jail records identify the woman as Amanda Pauline Disantis, 48, of Chillicothe. She was booked into the Ross County Jail shortly after midnight on September 8. Jail records list misdemeanor charges of OVI and endangering children, with $1,000 bond listed on each charge.

The circumstances surrounding the child-endangering allegation were not detailed in the information provided.

All charges are allegations. Disantis is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
