An Akron woman has been arrested following a Ross County grand jury indictment charging her with two counts of illegal conveyance into a detention facility.
According to Ross County Common Pleas Court records, Taylor M. O’Donnell, 32, of Akron, was indicted on two counts of Illegal Conveyance into a Detention Facility, both third-degree felonies under Ohio law.
The indictment was filed on July 10, 2026, and a warrant was later issued for O’Donnell’s arrest. The Ross County Sheriff’s Office served the warrant on July 28, and she was booked into the Ross County Jail later that day.
Court records show O’Donnell was arraigned on July 29, where the court placed her under pretrial supervision. A pretrial conference is scheduled for August 24, 2026, before Judge Matthew S. Schmidt.
The public court docket alleges two counts of illegal conveyance into a detention facility but does not specify what item or substance was allegedly brought into the jail.
O’Donnell is represented by the Ohio Public Defender after the court determined she qualified as indigent.
