A Toledo woman charged in Ross County with illegally conveying drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility has entered a guilty plea in the case.
According to Ross County Common Pleas Court records, Roxanne D. Torrez, of Toledo, Ohio, was charged under Ohio Revised Code 2921.36, a third-degree felony offense alleging illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility.
Court records show Torrez was originally arraigned in January 2026, with the case proceeding through multiple pre-trial hearings before ultimately resulting in a guilty plea filed on April 24, 2026.
Following the plea, the matter was scheduled for a disposition hearing on May 27, 2026. Court records further show the case disposition was later transferred to another court.
Torrez was represented by Chillicothe attorney Jeffery Michael Blosser during the proceedings.
Additional details regarding the underlying allegations were not immediately available from the online court docket.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law, though court records indicate a guilty plea was entered in this case.
