The Halloween Store is the Old Party City, Two Doors From Ollie’s

CHILLICOTHE — The seasonal costume shop people have been looking for is in Shawnee Square, not downtown.

Spirit Halloween lists a Chillicothe store at 72 Consumer Center Drive, in the former Party City. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is at 48 Consumer Center Drive in that same center, off North Bridge Street near Yoctangee Park. The chain’s store page lists hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and a phone line at 855-704-2669.

Spirit is the largest Halloween retailer in North America and opens temporary shops every fall, often in vacant big boxes. The Chillicothe listing is that pattern: a short lease, animatronics in the aisle, gone after the holiday.

The city already has a separate Halloween weekend. The Chillicothe Halloween Festival runs Oct. 9–11 at Yoctangee Park, with free admission, a haunted tent, coffin races and a Saturday Zombie Run 5K.
