A Scioto County man who was previously convicted in felony sex case has been booked back into the Scioto County Jail on an alleged parole violation.
According to the Scioto County Jail, Carlton L. McClure, 32, of Scioto County, was booked into the jail at approximately 7:26 p.m. on July 23, 2026, on a charge of Parole Violation (ORC 2967.43).
As of Thursday evening, the Scioto County Jail lists only the alleged parole violation. The reason for the alleged violation has not been publicly released.
A parole violation allegation is separate from the original convictions, and the specific basis for the violation may be addressed through the parole revocation process.
Records from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction show McClure was admitted to prison in June 2016 following convictions in Scioto County for one count of rape, a first-degree felony, and one count of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony. He was later released to Adult Parole Authority (APA) supervision, with supervision beginning on July 3, 2023.
