A Chillicothe woman was booked into the Ross County Jail on the night of July 23 after deputies served an indictment warrant stemming from a Ross County Grand Jury case involving multiple first-degree felony drug charges.
According to jail records, Kleaha J. Martinez, 29, of Chillicothe, was booked into the Ross County Jail at 10:04 p.m. on July 23, 2026, after being arrested by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest information lists Deputy Jacob JoHansen as the arresting officer.
Court records show Martinez was indicted on June 26, 2026, in Ross County Common Pleas Court on four first-degree felony counts:
- Two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs
- Two counts of Possession of Drugs
The indictment includes charges related to both drugs generally and cocaine, all classified as first-degree felonies.
Following service of the warrant, Martinez appeared before the court on July 24, where a $25,000 recognizance bond was set. The court also ordered pretrial supervision, and a pretrial conference has been scheduled for August 27, 2026, at 2:15 p.m. before Judge Matthew S. Schmidt.
As with all criminal cases, the charges against Martinez are allegations, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
