A Ross County woman was taken into custody Thursday afternoon on an outstanding felony indictment alleging escape.
According to jail records, Tiffany Renee Tatman, 31, was booked into the Ross County Jail at approximately 2:27 p.m. on July 30, 2026, after being arrested by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office. She is currently being held without bond on a warrant.
Ross County Common Pleas Court records show Tatman was indicted on one count of Escape, a fourth-degree felony. The indictment was filed on May 15, 2026.
Court records indicate the original charge presented to the grand jury was Complicity to Escape, also a fourth-degree felony, before the indictment proceeded on the escape charge. The warrant issued following the indictment was served on July 30, and the case remains pending before the Ross County Common Pleas Court.
As with all criminal cases, the charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
