A Ross County man is being held in the Ross County Jail after being arrested on an indictment charging him with Gross Sexual Imposition, a third-degree felony.
According to jail records, Corey T. Grubb, 34, of Chillicothe, was arrested on July 18 on a warrant issued following a Ross County Grand Jury indictment. He was booked into the Ross County Jail later that evening and is currently being held without bond.
Ross County Common Pleas Court records show the indictment was filed on January 16, 2026, charging Grubb with one count of Gross Sexual Imposition (R.C. 2907.05), a felony of the third degree. Court records further indicate a warrant was issued the same day and was returned as served on July 20 after Grubb’s arrest.
Grubb appeared for arraignment Monday before Judge Michael M. Ater. A criminal pretrial hearing has been scheduled for August 17, 2026.
As with all criminal cases, the charge is an allegation, and Grubb is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
