A man is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after being booked into the Ross County Jail over the weekend.
According to jail records, Jonathon David McVey, 32, was booked into the Ross County Jail at 7:19 p.m. on July 19, 2026, following an arrest by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
McVey has been charged with:
- Assault (M1)
- Menacing (M4)
- Criminal Mischief (M1)
Court records show bond was set at:
- $5,000, 10% for the assault charge,
- $500, 10% for the menacing charge, and
- $1,000, 10% for the criminal mischief charge.
As of the latest jail records, McVey remains in custody at the Ross County Jail. The allegations are charges only, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
