ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Chillicothe man listed on the Ross County Sheriff’s Office sex offender registry was booked into the Ross County Jail on November 3, 2026, on a charge involving falsification in connection with the purchase of a firearm.

Robert Nathaniel Althouse, 36, was booked into the facility following an arrest by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
