A Massieville man is now in custody after failing to appear in court earlier this year, resulting in a bench warrant being issued for his arrest.

According to jail records and court documents, Rocky R. Conley Sr., 56, was taken into custody on March 30, 2026, by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

Court records show that Conley had previously been indicted on a charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer (F4), along with a related drug instrument charge (M2) stemming from a municipal court case.

After being served with a summons in December 2025 and appearing for initial proceedings, Conley later failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing. As a result, on January 23, 2026, a bench warrant was issued, and his bond was revoked.

That warrant was ultimately served on March 30, leading to his arrest.

Jail records indicate Conley is currently being held in the Ross County Jail on the warrant, with additional charges listed including aggravated menacing.

Further proceedings in the case are expected to be scheduled.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
