HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — A man booked into the Highland County Jail Tuesday evening is facing an unusually lengthy list of charges, according to the Miami Valley Jails online booking system.
Shayton Eugene Furlow, 34, was booked into the jail at approximately 7:12 p.m. on September 29. As of Wednesday morning, the online jail record listed 19 separate charge entries associated with his booking.
The list is dominated by serious drug allegations, including multiple first-degree felony counts of trafficking in drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Furlow is also listed with engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, having weapons while under disability, and a probation violation.
The booking page presents some unusual information, however. While Furlow is shown as being held at the Highland County Jail, the arrest location is listed as the Montgomery County Jail, and the arresting agency appears only as “Unmatched Code.” It is unclear from the booking page alone whether all 19 entries represent new charges connected to a single investigation, charges from multiple cases, or a database/record-transfer issue.
Furlow remained listed in custody as of September 30.
All charges are allegations unless and until proven in court.
