ROSS COUNTY: The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a man setting a small fire on the porch of the former Hopetown School on Hopetown Road in Chillicothe.
According to the sheriff’s office activity log for Oct. 13, a caller reported the man making the fire on the porch of the old school building. Deputies responded and opened a criminal mischief investigation.
No other details, including whether anyone has been identified, have been released at this time. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
