Historic South Scioto School Invites Veterans to Final Appreciation Dinner November 7th

MASSIEVILLE, Ohio — The historic South Scioto School is extending a special invitation to veterans from across Ross County and surrounding communities to attend its final Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Located at 1808 Massieville Road, the historic school will welcome veterans for an afternoon of fellowship, food, and heartfelt appreciation for their service to our nation.

The dinner is expected to feature pulled pork sandwiches and a variety of side dishes, providing an opportunity for veterans to gather, share stories, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the hospitality of a grateful community.

This year’s dinner will be especially meaningful, as it marks the last Veterans Appreciation Dinner to be hosted at the historic South Scioto School. Organizers hope to see a strong turnout of veterans from throughout the region, giving everyone an opportunity to visit the school and personally thank those who have proudly worn our nation’s uniform.
