The nursing home property in Frankfort has a new owner on paper, in the biggest Ross County sale recorded that week.
The property at 3363 Ragged Ridge Road in Frankfort sold for $2,232,000, recorded Tuesday, October 13, according to the Ross County Auditor’s valid sales list.
The seller was Embassy Valley View Realty LLC. The buyer was PH Frankfort SNF LLC.
At $2.23 million, it was the biggest Ross County sale on the auditor’s list for that week, well ahead of the next largest sales in the county.
In plain terms, this is an ownership change for the property and the facility. Sales like this are common in the nursing home business, where the building and the operation are often held by separate companies.
The sale record itself does not list any change to daily operations. It simply shows the property moving from one ownership group to another on October 13.
The transfer is part of the auditor’s valid sales list, the county record of sales the auditor posts as valid.
