Frankfort man, Austin Earles, Pleads Guilty in Ross County Cases Involving Aggravated Robbery, Felonious Assault and Failure to Comply
ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man facing multiple felony charges in two separate Ross County Common Pleas Court cases has entered a guilty plea, according to court records.
Austin M. Earles was charged in a 2025 case with first-degree felony aggravated robbery under Ohio Revised Code 2911.01 and second-degree felony felonious assault under ORC 2903.11. The case, filed November 7, 2025, remains listed as open in court records.
Earles was also charged in a separate 2026 case with third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer under ORC 2921.331. That case was filed April 28 and is currently listed as reopened.
Court records show proceedings were scheduled for a jury trial on September 22. The following day, September 23, the docket reflects that a criminal disposition sheet was filed stating the defendant had pleaded. A separate entry confirms a plea of guilty and judgment entry of guilty was filed.
A sentencing hearing is expected to be scheduled by a separate court entry. Earles’ bond was continued pending sentencing.
