PIKE COUNTY, Ohio. Western Pike Local Schools put 250 beef-raffle tickets in a trash bag. Names bought in person and names bought on Venmo were copied onto the same size ticket so none of them stood out.
In the drawing video, a comment was heard of “Very redneck thing to do, but we’re going to do it anyway,” and sticks a leaf blower in the bag. That got a good chuckle from this writer. Johnnie Irvin’s ticket came out. The beef was donated by Sunfish Valley Farms.
