Halloween Spirit Week got off to a pretty good start at Pioneer School in Chillicothe.

Students visited the Pioneer Pumpkin Patch on Monday and picked out pumpkins to take home, part of the school’s Halloween Spirit Week kickoff.

“There were plenty of smiles as students picked out their pumpkins to take home,” the school said.

The school also thanked everyone who helped bring the pumpkin patch to life and made the fall experience possible for its students.

Pioneer School is part of the Pioneer Center, run by the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Spirit Week runs through Halloween on Saturday.
