Four Columbus men were arraigned Friday in Franklin County Municipal Court on the same first-degree felony aggravated robbery charge, in cases with consecutive numbers.
Ayub Hoosh, 21, is charged in case 2026 CR A 018225 with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, at the grade alleging a deadly weapon was on or about his person and was controlled, displayed, indicated, or used, according to court records. Arraigned in the same courtroom on the identical charge were Hasma Omar in case 2026 CR A 018222, Hamza Gele in case 2026 CR A 018223, and Mahamed Said in case 2026 CR A 018224.
The arraignment sheets do not describe the underlying incident and do not state whether the four cases arise from the same event. No further facts were available in the court record Friday. Franklin County Sheriff’s Office records show Hoosh was arrested on October 22, 2026, and booked into the Franklin County jail. Bond had not been set in the case as of his arraignment in courtroom 4D.
Hoosh is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Felony cases filed in municipal court are typically presented to a Franklin County grand jury, which decides whether to issue an indictment and move the case to the Court of Common Pleas.
Heritage Headlines is working to learn more about the arrests and will update this story as information is confirmed.
