A Columbus woman was arraigned Thursday in Franklin County Municipal Court on a second-degree felony burglary charge, the newest felony case filed on the day’s arraignment sheets.
Alisha Lomax is charged in case 2026 CR A 018211 with burglary, a second-degree felony, according to court records. The charge alleges a trespass in a structure with another person present, with the intent to commit a criminal offense.
The arraignment sheet gives no facts about the underlying incident, and no further details were available in the court record Thursday.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office records show Lomax was arrested on October 21, 2026, and booked into the Franklin County jail. Bond had not been set in the case as of her arraignment in courtroom 4D.
Lomax is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Felony cases filed in municipal court are typically presented to a Franklin County grand jury, which decides whether to issue an indictment and move the case to the Court of Common Pleas.
