CIRCLEVILLE — Marshalls has put a date on the door. The discount retailer lists a new Circleville store at 190 Summit Ave., with a grand opening Thursday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The company posted the opening on its own grand-openings page, alongside other October debuts in Texas, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. That is the first firm time and address the chain has published for Pickaway County.
The store was already in the works. Pickaway County building records last fall showed Marshalls and Five Below planned for a development just west of the Adena Health complex on South Court Street, after an earlier guess that the TJX space might be a T.J. Maxx. Marshalls and T.J. Maxx share a parent company. The address Marshalls is now advertising is 190 Summit Ave.
No hiring total or store size has been released. The Circleville Pumpkin Show runs downtown Oct. 20–24, so the Marshalls opening falls the week after the festival crowds leave.
