Ross County Man Faces New Violation After Community Control Extended One Year

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County man who previously admitted to violating the terms of his community control is back in jail following another alleged violation.

Hezekiah Re’Aun Walker was booked into the Ross County Jail on September 30, 2026. Jail records list Walker as being held without bond on a probation violation.

Walker’s underlying Ross County Common Pleas Court case dates back to November 2023.

Court records show Walker had already faced consequences for violating his community-control sanctions. On December 11, 2025, a judgment entry was filed finding Walker guilty of a community-control violation. He was ordered to remain in jail pending bed availability at a community-based correctional facility, and his community control was extended for an additional year.

Several months later, Walker again came to the attention of the probation department.

On July 17, 2026, the Ross County Probation Department filed a petition for a capias related to another alleged community-control violation. Court records show a capias warrant was issued and Walker’s community-control period was suspended.

Walker was taken into custody on September 30 and booked into the Ross County Jail, where he remained listed in custody as of October 1.

The publicly available records provided do not specify what conduct led to the latest alleged violation.

An alleged community-control violation is subject to further court proceedings, and the allegation should not be considered a finding of guilt.
