CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – A Chillicothe man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in Circleville after police responded to a report of threats against residents, only to discover he had an active warrant from his hometown department.
According to a Circleville Police Department report, officers were dispatched around 4:49 p.m. Sept. 23 to an address on South Court Street in reference to a male threatening other residents. On scene, officers made contact with Brandon Lewis Garrison, 46, of Chillicothe.
After speaking with the property owner, officers determined Garrison had been making threats to other residents at the location. Sgt. Harrell then checked Garrison’s information through dispatch and learned he had an active warrant out of the Chillicothe Police Department.
Garrison was placed in wrist restraints, escorted to a patrol vehicle, and transported to the Ross County line. There he was turned over to the custody of Chillicothe police.
