Two Bottles of Water and a Warning Resolve Third Disturbance at Circleville Police Station

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio. Two bottles of water and a warning for disorderly conduct resolved a disturbance at the Circleville Police Department on July 2, 2026, marking the third reported incident of similar behavior.

According to an incident report obtained through a public records request, dispatch received a call at approximately 1:13 p.m. about a woman who was threatening and causing a scene inside the probation department at 151 E. Franklin St.

When Officer Martin arrived, the woman had moved to the steps outside the police station. She explained she was upset over not receiving requested resources from the courthouse, such as food and pop. The officer provided two bottles of water, warned her for disorderly conduct under Ohio Revised Code 2917.11, and advised that continued behavior could lead to arrest. The scene was cleared without further incident.
