The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports that a man allegedly approached several women along Eastern Avenue in Chillicothe and solicited them for sexual favors.
According to an incident report, deputies were dispatched to the area of 804 Eastern Avenue on June 19 after receiving a solicitation complaint. Four women, who requested to remain anonymous, told deputies that a man had repeatedly approached them and asked for sexual favors.
The women described the suspect as a white male believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s with shoulder-length greasy brown hair, glasses, and a thin build. They also provided a detailed description of the vehicle he was reportedly driving, described as a late 1990s to early 2000s red Chevrolet pickup truck with a white camper shell.
According to the report, the women stated the man would pull up behind them, offer rides, and make requests for sexual activity. All four women reportedly told deputies that the encounters caused them to fear for their safety.
No criminal charges had been filed as of the time of the report. However, deputies advised that a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert would be issued for the vehicle in an effort to identify the driver.
