A Ross County man is being held in the Ross County Jail after his arrest by the Chillicothe Police Department led to both the service of an outstanding warrant and the filing of additional criminal charges.
According to jail records, 58-year-old David Bruce Daniels was booked into the Ross County Jail on June 19, 2026. Officer Derek Wallace of the Chillicothe Police Department is listed as the arresting officer.
Records show Daniels was booked on charges of theft without consent, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. Jail records indicate one of the charges was associated with an outstanding warrant, while the remaining charges appear to have been filed in connection with the incident that led to his arrest.
The charges include one count of theft without consent classified as a first-degree misdemeanor, along with additional counts of theft without consent, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct involving intoxication.
Details regarding the circumstances of the arrest and the underlying allegations were not immediately available. Daniels remained in custody at the Ross County Jail as of June 19.
Additional court records and charging documents may provide further information regarding the warrant and the events that led to the new charges.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
