Chillicothe Man and Woman Arrested, Following Reported Assault, Kidnapping, and Robbery Investigation.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe Police Department investigation has resulted in the arrests of two individuals after officers responded to a reported assault on Sugar Street earlier this year.

According to a Chillicothe Police Department report, officers were dispatched on March 6, 2026, to the area of 34 S. Sugar Street regarding a complaint. The investigation listed multiple alleged offenses, including felonious assault, kidnapping, and robbery.

The report states officers contacted individuals on scene who reported an incident had occurred inside the residence. Officers later reviewed nearby security footage and observed a male and female leaving the area before police arrived. Officers cleared the residence and continued the investigation.

The report provided by the Chillicothe Police Department was heavily redacted making details of the offenses unavailable to the public.

Court and jail records show Davon Jamal Larry and Payton Leigh Remy were taken into custody on May 28, 2026, and booked into the Ross County Jail.

Larry is listed as facing charges including:

Remy is listed as facing charges including:

  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Felonious Assault
  • Theft Without Consent

The case remains pending through the court system.
