Court records show the case was filed in April 2025 and involved numerous hearings, evaluations, and scheduled jury trial dates before ultimately being resolved through a plea agreement in March 2026.

On May 5, 2026, Dillard was sentenced to two years of community control instead of incarceration. The judgment entry states he was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service within 12 months, undergo mental health and sex offender treatment evaluations, and pay court costs.

Despite avoiding jail and prison, court records show Dillard was classified as a Tier II sex offender. Pike County Sheriff’s Office registry records show he completed his initial registration following sentencing.

Public court filings further show the original felony charge was amended to attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor prior to sentencing.

As with all criminal cases, court records and offender registry information referenced in this article are publicly available records.
