A Dayton man is currently in custody in Scioto County on multiple felony drug charges stemming from a case that originated in juvenile court, according to court records.
Andre Wright, who is now an adult, was previously charged as a juvenile before the case was transferred to adult court through a bindover process due to the severity of the alleged offenses.
The case, filed as 25CR000110 in Scioto County Common Pleas Court, includes several serious charges:
Trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound (Felony 1) Possession of a fentanyl-related compound (Felony 1) Trafficking in cocaine (Felony 2) Possession of cocaine (Felony 2) Additional trafficking-related charges, including a fourth-degree felony
Court records reference a juvenile court bindover, a legal process in which a case is transferred from juvenile court to adult court. A docket entry indicates Wright was held on a $100,000 bond following that transfer.
Jail records show Wright was booked on March 27, 2026, on a charge of trafficking in drugs.
An address listed in court documents places Wright out of Dayton, Ohio.
Due to the seriousness of the charges — particularly those involving fentanyl — the case is being prosecuted at the adult felony level.
Wright is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
