New Jersey Man Remains in Custody in Scioto County Aggravated Murder Case

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A man indicted earlier this year on multiple homicide-related charges remains in custody at the Scioto County Jail as his case continues to move through the court system.

Kenneth Bailey, 36, of Neptune, New Jersey, is currently being held following his arrest on a Scioto County indictment tied to multiple serious felony charges, including aggravated murder and murder.

Court records show Bailey was indicted on February 3, 2026, with prosecutors requesting a warrant for his arrest shortly thereafter. A warrant was issued on February 5 and later served on February 17, according to docket filings.

Bailey is facing multiple counts, including:
